I'm installing the orange box via disc and when the installer tells me to switchs to disc 2 I can't eject the disc. How would I go about doing this?

try mounting all of the discs' iso's onto your desktop and then install. Crossover should switch disks automatically.
forgot to add that with steam, the best thing to do is to download directly from the steam site, using your CD license keys. Once you get it all installed from CD, you will need to download a ton of updates anyway, so ultimately this is much faster.
