I downloaded the trial of crossover mac today and tried to install a windows app to use it on mac. It`s Rhinoceros 4. At the install menu it says i need an windows installer version 3 (it has detected version 0). Is there a way to install the setup without it? The program is unsupported but I need it and it should be the reason to buy crossover.

In Crossover Preferences uncheck 'hide service packs and dependencies'. Then in the Crossover Install Software list you'll see Windows Installer Redistributable 2.0. Try installing that into the same bottle as your Windows app and see if it helps.
