MKV2VOB the great MKV to PS3 compatible conversion tool not working

I've used this program and it is fantastic for converting HD .mkv files over to a usable PS3 compatible file. However, when I tried to run it on CrossOver it failed to open. The icon pops up on my dock for a few seconds and then vanishes. I've heard reports of it working on CrossOver. Anyone using it or provide suggestions?

same here... i've not received my serial code, yet o maybe my crossover installation is limited, or crossover doesn't support mkvvob, i'm sure there must be more than just us 2 ps3/mac owners with a thirst for hd content?

I use tsMuxer ( http://www.smlabs.net/tsmuxer_en.html ) to convert .mkv to m2ts (Blue-ray fotmat) and it work great with crossover. Go to this site to know how it work ( http://www.bitburners.com/articles/convert-mkv-video-files-to-m2ts-for-playstation-3-using-tsmuxer/4015/ ). You don't need to burn it on a dvd, just use medialink ( http://www.nullriver.com/products/medialink ) to copy your video_name.m2ts to your ps3.

thanks for the links chuck!

Hi Chuck. Thanks for the info. Only problem is that I have tried creating tsMuxeR bottle and can't seen to get it working. Can you tell me how you installed tsMuxeR on CrossOver?

Thanks!

Hi BIGBERTHA, sorry for the wait. I use my default bottle ( Win xp). When you download tsmuxer, unzip it and just open tsMuxerGUI.exe, there's no installation, it just an application.
