Installing apps to a seperate, internal hard drive

Howdee all -

Just recently purchased CrossOver Games, and I can't seem to figure out how to adjust my settings accordingly (or whatever else I may need to do) to enable CrossOver Games to install applications to a different directory than the default. I've got a nice, big Terrabyte installed in another drive bay, and I'd rather store some of the larger games I'd like to run (Read: TF2, FFXI) on that separate, internal drive rather than my boot disk. It seems like it's a simple enough task, but I haven't found the proper documentation, nor the proper settings within CrossOver's menus.

I tried very absentmindedly to make an alias, and CrossOver didn't take to that at all. I tried to craft a linked file using ln command in the Terminal window (just found out about the -s call though, so I may try that again using that after I finish typing this), but I was quickly scolded that such calls cannot be made about a folder. It seems like simply instructing the program to look for files in a different directory would be pie, but as I said before, it's some deep seeded mystery. Can someone instruct me how to figure out that it's the butler?

Thank you greatly in advance,
-M

The basic instructions are available here:

under the first tip, although you will have to alter them for your situation. If you are still unsuccessful, I would suggest filing a support ticket or sending an email to info@codeweavers.com so that we can help you further.

Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
