Mouse cursor visible in games. Possible fix but functionality does not exist in WINE File Explorer. Suggestions Requested

Greetings,
Currently happening in Skyrim SE/AE and "has" occurred in Armored Warfare. The "fix" below has worked for Windows users but we do not have the capability, "as I know it", to make these changes. Does anyone know of a tool that would allow us to set application level compatibility settings, High DPI, etc? BTW, I have played with the DPI scaling on the Graphics tab and it had no effect.
Thank You in Advance and Best Regards and Best Wishes!

Here is a solution for PC (tested as working) originally posted by Dua Fupa on the Steam forums:

"Try this out as it worked for me:

  • Go to games folder and right click app and click properties.
  • Compatibility tab
  • Make sure Run Program as Administrator is checked.
  • Click High DPI Settings
  • High DPI Scaling Override
  • Set to Application in the drop down list.
  • Hit ok and launch game."

UPDATE: Spent more hours searching. This Terminal solution works. It prevents the Dock from popping up for x seconds. You can always bring the dock back with CMD+Opt+D and then rehide as needed. This is Game/App independant so will work on anything on a Mac. I just spent 4+ hours down holes in Skyrim AE and no cursor popup.
NOTE: Have provided all the URL background info for those who do/have not used the Terminal or find it confusing/scary.

Terminal Command:
defaults write com.apple.Dock autohide-delay -float xxxx && killall Dock (Where xxxx=seconds delay you want)

Restore with:
defaults delete com.apple.dock autohide-delay && killall Dock
