I've been having fun on my Mac with the crossover. However, when my character enters a certain area, a white screen flashes across the screen.
If your Mac has an Apple SOC chip (M1, M2, etc.) you should be able to avoid that problem by enabling D3DMetal in the bottle settings. If your Mac has an Intel chip, switch to legacy graphics (default key G) when you run into a graphics problem.
