I use CrossOver 23.7 (and previously with 23.6) on Monterey 12.7 to play Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) which is distributed as a windows application. Working just fine there. So, there is an application called "Lotro Companion" (LC) which provides quite a few useful features to aid you with your characters in LOTRO. LC is a freeware application that is totally independent of LOTRO. LC is distributed with a windows Java Runtime Environment (JRE) since LC is a Java application that hooks into the running LOTRO application to extract character information. More than a year ago, I was able to use WINE to run LC when I had Mojave 10.15 with 32-bit support. However, once I upgraded to Monterey, I was no longer able to use WINE to run LOTRO since it's game launcher is still 32-bit which WINE doesn't support. CrossOver supports 32-bit on Monterey so I bought a CrossOver license last year so I could continue playing LOTRO on Monterey. I can run LC using an OS X JRE but I don't get the LOTRO application integration. When I try to run LC via the the included Windows JRE 8, LC comes up but all its windows have totally black contents.
