Star Wars Battlefront II 2017 after update to CrossOver 23.7.0 feedback

Ok, so now after the update I could launch the game with DXVK and MSync enabled but it's very laggy. Without MSync DXVK has just frozen black screen at launch, so seems like MSync is fixing it. With just D3DMetal it works well enough even on Ultra settings if enable DirectX 12 inside the game settings and turn off Dynamic Resolution to remove annoying dotted grid across the screen, but still there are quickly flickering pixel cubes on shaders... With D3DMetal + MSync game always only goes through Validating process in Steam for some reason, but never launches, why is that? Also sometimes it launches with D3DMetal + MSync but not in fullscreen mode...

With Steam, it would not download and install. It has to do with link to EAA app. I downloaded from GOG. With my Mac Studio M1 Ultra system, it plays flawlessly.

What is GOG?

GOG=Good Old Games is a game distribution retailer. Unlike Steam, in most cases when you purchase a game from GOG you get the game without DRM (Digital Rights Management) which means you don’t need a GOG application or a connection to the Internet to play a game purchased from GOG. GOG does offer a “GOG Desktop” application which will automatically install and update games for you, but it is not necessary. There are both Mac and Windows versions of the “GOG Desktop” but the Mac version is only for native Mac games and the Windows version does not work well with Crossover and, as I already stated, is not necessary: When installing a Windows game onto a Mac with Crossover, use that game’s “offline backup installer” from GOG, don’t use the “GOG Desktop”.
