So we all know the game is far from optimized in its launch state.
My initial testing on a 13" M2 MBP with 24GB RAM gave me the following:
Steam version
D3DMetal caused a unity crash in both Win10 and 11 bottles
DXVK + ESYNC could get me past the Paradox launcher to the EULA screen before it completely locks up. Tested in Fullscreen, Windowed, Borderless and all had the same result.
Wondering if anyone could get the game in a playable state?
Same here, not able to get into the game.
Exact same results here. Would be awesome if we could figure out a fix, I know there are heaps of dedicated Mac players from the first game who would want to play the second game too.
Short term, it does run perfectly with Ultimate tier GFN, but that’s another sub and relies on good internet. Also still unsure if GFN will have any mod support when that launches. Would love to get it running natively eventually.
