I have an alias for a Time Capsule volume on my desktop, it mounts when clicked - that's pretty simple.
When I move the alias to Dock however, Crossover is launched when I click it, which is just as absurd as annoying. How can I prevent that?

I've never heard of this problem before. One thing I would try would be "killall Dock" in Terminal to restart it.
That is absurd and I can't imagine why it would be happening. Have you tried dragging the volume, instead of an alias to it, to the Dock?
