I am evaluating CrossOver and one of the programs I am trying to use is SimpleOCR (Gold medal).
When I try to access the scanner I get this message:
The connection to the scanner driver is not good (the Parameters we sent to the scanner were not accepted).
We recommend that you change your scanner driver and scan again.
Would you like to change your TWAIN driver and scan again?
I have looked around the Support area and do not think changing drivers is the solution (but I may be convinced).
I know that setting up scanning under Snow Leopard was a bit of a pain but natively it is OK now. I had some trouble with my networked scanner and the firewall, so I gave CrossOver access but I don't know if there is some other sub-program I need to cater for.
That is the extent of my understanding (I have avoided Microsoft like the plague before). So I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I really want Crossover to work.
Merci.
