I have tried these two spam filters as they provide challenge/response protection from spam. each one of them reports :cannot create folder: when the configuration program is run. Where would I look on the disk, to change permissions. I am assuming that it has something to do with permissions.
I think the problem is likely deeper than permissions. Add-ins - from Microsoft or from third parties - to Outlook don't work very well in Crossover. Often times these add-ins lock into windows elements external from Outlook, itself. Not seeing these elements (since Crossover isn't windows), they fail in a variety of ways.
You can check the permissions on your Library/Application Support/Crossover directory to make sure that it, and everything in it, is owned by the correct user (this is the directory where all of your bottles, and thus all of your Outlook info, is stored).
Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
