What's the recommended procedure for installing service packs and patches (I have MS Office XP installed)? Is there a list of updates that should and should not be installed? Thanks.

The service packs for Office 2003 don't work in Crossover 6.2, but to install service packs for older Office XP (2000) try:
!) Open Crossover Preferences, uncheck 'hide service packs and dependencies'
2) Go to Configure menu, Manage Bottles, choose the bottle containing Office XP, Applications tab, Install Software button.
3) If the Office XP service packs are listed in the Install Software list select them and then choose the service pack .exe as the source of the install.
If they're not listed in the Install Software list, do an unsupported install and select the service pack .exe
If everything works the service pack will be applied to Office XP.
I have a somehow related question for Office 2007.
I wanted to update my Office 2007 install with the Service release 1. I followed your instructions, but the SR 1 doesn't seem to be listed.
Does it mean it's unsupported at this point (I have CrossOver 7) and that I have to remain in the original version of Office 2007?
Thanks,
Corentin
