I have Snow Leopard and an up-to-date version of Crossover for Mac. I have installed Internet Explorer 6.0 into a bottle. I can access IE and do what I want to do. But when I finish, I can't quit IE or Crossover. It just sits there and says "Closing Windows" but nothing happens for many, many minutes. When I click "force shutdown", nothing happens. I have to force quit (command, option, ESC) to get out of both programs. Any suggestions?
How are you exiting/quitting IE6? ALT-SPACEBAR seems and then select quit to exit works ok for me. Are you accessing an MLS system? If so, it may be related to this thread:
Even if you're not accessing an MLS system it could be related. Perhaps email info@codeweavers.com and refer to both threads asking for the fix to see if that helps you.
I followed the link mentioned above and did the download as recommended...and it really helped.
Thanks.
