Has anyone tried to use EZI by Gary King? EzI: A(n Easy) Program for Ecological Inference by Kenneth Benoit and Gary King. This is a stand-alone, menu-oriented version of EI (see above) that runs under Windows. It does not require Gauss or any other software to run. EzI does everything EI does and with fewer startup costs but, due to the lack of the Gauss command line, is somewhat less flexible. Winner of the APSA Research Software Award. (Software: EXE for Windows Version: 2.7, 4/14/2003 (See readme.1st, included.) | All questions, bugs, requests: EI Listserv. I need to run it on my MAC and would prefer to use CodeWeavers to do so, but don't know if it will work.
If the staff can try it for me, they can download the program free from King's web site at Harvard University. If it works I will buy right away.
Seeing as you're obviously versed with this software yourself, you are probably in a better
position to ascertain whether or not it works correctly in Crossover.
I would suggest you download a demo of Crossover (which is the full version, just time limited)
and giving the EZI software a go yourself.
Good luck!
Cheers!
