Boy did i jump in front of the bus. Had no idea that Snow Leopard would not work with my trusty Crossover for Mac 7.1. Now I can't get to the important stuff. Do I have to reinstall all the apps and related files, that are in 7.1 into 8.0? Or is there an easier way to 'see' them in 8.0.

You shouldn't need to... just upgrade to CrossOver 8.0 and the should be there...
Now if they don't work they may need a fresh install, but you should be able to get to them.
