Hello,
I am aware that gameranger has a mac version, however I am using Age of Empires (Pc) installed via crossover and to use it with gameranger I need the PC version. I've tried installing it the usuall way but no cigar. Anyone kind enough to hold my hand through the whole process?

Right i see what you mean the installer does not even start have you tried installing it in windows then copying over the necessary files to the bottle?
