help with running evil genius

Well ive installed everything for the game evil genius but everytime i try to run the play disk through crossover a message comes up that says "no disk is inserted". Im not sure if theres a step that im missing or something but what does this mean? any help would be greatly appreciated.

And im using the trial version if this helps... thanks

Hi,

More than likely, you are running into a disc based DRM issue, and so
the following would apply ;

Cheers!

Sooo i would need to crack the disk, which is against the law? How would I go about cracking the disk? or can you even discuss that here.

It's easy!...like this...;

Click reply to this posting of mine...
Look down towards the lefthand bottom of the page....
See the two big buttons?..one is '<< Back' and the other is 'Post Comment'.....
Just underneath those buttons, you'll see the words The Fine Print: ......
Now, see the second line of the fine print guidelines and what it advises?....

That pretty much sums the situation, and why I pointed you to the
DMCA link because it says about as much as is legally tolerable on
this subject in the world we live in today <grin>....

There is some more info over on wineHQ though....see;

Sorry I can't be of more help ;/

Cheers!
