I have downloaded the trial into my computer and all I am wanting to do is run a exe file. Where do I start? I have no idea what the next steps are? Anyone able to help please?

Short version:

Create a bottle with the Windows OS version you think you need. Copy the .exe into the bottle (use open in finder). Then use the Program Run command to run your .exe and save it to your menus.

Tell us where you're up to and what you're stuck on and someone can probably step you through it.

Actually, you don't need to copy the .exe into the bottle. You can run a program .exe from wherever, so long as you have a bottle.

(Some .exe files will create files in the same location as themselves. For example, self-extracting archives. For those, you might want to be a bit careful about where you run them from, just to control where they create their files.)
