Bejeweled Twist not working, garbled screen, sometimes all black,

Bejeweled Twist does not work for me, under CrossOver Games Mac
or CrossOver Pro Mac, does work under regular Wine on Linux, I am
installing from the retail CD. - I have tried other Bejeweled games
and they all seam to crash, lock-up or not work.

I am getting the same on another Mac BTW

The error is a garbled screen, sometimes a black screen, sometimes it
goes to a black screen and I am unable to exit, so I have to restart the
Mac, when it shows the "Program Error" for Bejeweled Twist it said

"The Program popcapgame1.exe has encountered a serious
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

Other software works just fine, any ideas ?

Hi,

Many popcap games titles are hardcoded to a resolution of 800x600,
and as such require 'emulate a virtual desktop' to be enabled in winecfg
...have you tried that yet?

Cheers!

I still get the garbled screen, and the "Program Error"

"The Program popcapgame1.exe has encountered a serious
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

but its in its own window

Hmm...this might be something Mac specific...I found the following
ticket thread on the subject (if you can't read the ticket, let me know);

http://www.codeweavers.com/support/tickets/browse/?ticket_id=707104

Could you share with us the MacOSX version and videocards your Macs'
have fitted please? It may help led a clue as to what's going on.

FWIW, this title (and a few other popcap titles I have (including this
and bejeweled2) all work fine with CXG-8.1.4/linux on a nvidia 9400gt.

Cheers!

I have other games that use OpenGL like Quake 3, and they work just fine, and so do
regular software, so I am thinking its what was described in that trouble ticket,

I am using Snow Leopard, and a "G92" based Nvidia Video card in both i.g., 8800GT
