Hi - I have been wondering where items I delete go while in a program in Crossover. I can not find a Windows regular recycle bin in the C drive of any of my bottles. I just tried looking at the address you provided above, Luca, and I can not even find that!
Is there some easier way to find the Windows C Drive Recycle Bin?
Thanks!
I have to confess, this is a surprise. I did not know that Wine (the technology on which CrossOver is based) would move files to the directory that Luca mentioned when you delete it from within a Windows program's file dialog.
It's just plain wrong that it move them there, at least on Mac OS X. I will file a bug that that should be fixed. Sorry for the confusion.
Christine, that directory is ordinarily hidden in the Finder. To view it, the easiest thing to do is, from the Go menu, select Go to Folder. In the dialog that comes up, type "~/.local/share/Trash/files" (without the quotes).
Thank you - you made it easy!
