Word not visible

Using CrossOver 9.1.0 on OS 10.6.4. I have installed just Word and Excel from Office 2007. After launching Word, I was trying to move it around the screen to the right position for me and suddenly it disappeared. I have no idea where it is. Excel is fine. I found a suggestion I thought might work which involved running the Wine Configuration, adding Winword.exe to Application Settings, and unchecking "Allow the window manager to control the window" in order to rectify the problem and then rechecking that option after you've fixed the problem. But no luck. Still Word runs, but is nowhere to be found. Anyone got any other suggestions?

By playing around with the options in the Graphics tab for Application Settings, I was finally able to get Word to show up.

I spoke too soon there. Now it's gone again. Whereas the instructions I mentioned earlier state that you should return the graphic settings back to their default settings, I did that. Then Word wouldn't show up again. So now I've returned them to the settings that worked, and nothing. Word runs, but does not show up. So again, anyone got a permanent fix for this?

Final update? I finally figured out where Word was hiding on one of my screens, practically completely off the screen. Why it was there though, I have no idea.
