running a Windows application called Family Historian v4 on Snow Leopard OS (MacBook Pro) via Crossover by Codeweaver - with Windows Visual C++ 6.0 in same bottle. Everything functioned well except that when I used Alpa keyboard on an input field, the application immediately closed. Any suggestions? I do not want to buy Parallels or Virtual PC and then buy Windows OS - I bought my Mac to get away from Microsoft.
have you tried separate bottles for visual c and the historian app...? i've found that works for some instances where the apps don't play nice together in a single bottle. i've also found it necessary for some installs like office 2007 where i can't install all apps in the suite under 1 install routine.
