I have just installed Office 2007 using Crossover on a MacPro running Snow Leopard with latest updates. However, when I configure the email accounts (GMAIL - using IMAP) the program doesn't even seem to be going to out authenticate - get the "Long onto incoming mail server (IMAP): An unknown error occurred, error code: Ox800ccc14.
Just seems that somehow the path to the Internet is blocked. I'm connected through Wireless Adapter, and my Internet connection seems to be working fine outside of Crossover.
Am I missing a configuration somewhere? Couldn't find anything in the help menu's or a search through the forums.
Sadly, you're running into a known issue - IMAP SSL (which is what Gmail/Hotmail/Yahoo use) doesn't currently work in Crossover. Our devs report that there may, finally, be a light at the end of this particular tunnel for our next release of Crossover, but the current and all former versions of Crossover do not function with Outlook and Gmail, and fail in the manner that you've observed.
