Can't seem to open setup.exe files, any suggestions.....thanks

Can you provide some more details about what you're trying to do there
(or more to the point, exactly what you're doing with Crossover to try
and open said setup.exe files?)

How does one open .exe files?

Hi,

   Same question for you -- in what context are you trying to  

run said exe file? Normally speaking, you don't need to worry about
'running exe files' as such - Crossover takes care of it for you...

...on the Mac, use the Programs-> Run Command... function, highlight
the bottle in question, then use the Browse button to navigate to
the .exe file and open/run it like this....if that's the wrong or
incomplete answer, I'll need to know more about what/why you're
trying to run here...

Since setup.exe files are typically installers, I recommend you use CrossOver's software installer window to run them. If there's no matching application profile in the list, select Other Application. For the installer source, there's a choice to choose a file. Use that to pick the setup.exe. Pick or name the bottle you wish to install into. Click Install.
