I just upgraded to Crossover 8 and tried to install Explorer 7. The program installed some Microsoft core fonts, etc. But when it came time to install Internet Explorer 7, it said it was not supported on this system. Any idea why? Thanks.

I am new to CrossOver (about an hour ago). I installed Quicken in a bottle and its says I need IE 7. I tried to install to the same bottle. Please confirm you uninstalled CrossOver altogether including all your bottles and reinstalled CrossOver. Should I not have put two apps in a bottle?
what version of quicken are you installing? There shouldn't be any version of quicken that requires you to install IE7 as a separate install in the same bottle. Sometimes Quicken 2007 users will need to install IE6, but as a general rule you should be able to just run the install with Quicken - Crossover will take care of installing the IE dependencies that are needed by the program on its own. You might want to just blow away your quicken bottle and re-install just quicken into a new one.
I've been waiting for two hours now for
Explorer 7.0 to download on my MacBook Pro, OS 10.6.3
It took about 30 minutes to download fonts, but since then - 90 minutes and counting
to download Explorer. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks.
I have just installed CrossOver Mac and am trying to install IE 7. It will not allow me to choose a search engine and just gets hung up there. What do I do next?
Entering the URL in the navigator bar worked until I entered my user ID and password. Now the hourglass has been sitting on that page for 15 minutes or better and nothing is happening.
