Hi,

Actually, it was probably wine that tossed up the Mono suggestion,
which is a freely available implementation of the .NET framework. So
just be aware of that -- if Mono doesn't want to play, .NET 2.0 (or
.NET 3.0) would be the other avenues to explore here....

As for the error itself...it suggests that installing the following
native library may help ;

http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=8227

..good luck!...let us know how you get on ;)

Cheers!

It worked with the link you gave me. Thanks a lot

Me again now I have another problem

The command "/Users/username/Downloads/USBXTAFGUI_v34.exe" returned 1.

Hi...looks like this;

http://www.mail-archive.com/mono-list@lists.ximian.com/msg33041.html

If it were me, I'd try creating a new bottle, set it up exactly
the same as you have the current bottle, but use .NET 2.0 instead
of Mono and see if it throws the same error ; if it does, install
.NET 3.0 into the same bottle and retry for the same (or different)
error...let us know what you discover ;)

Cheers!

I'm trying to install .net 3.5 and its says there's install problems

.NET 3.5 does not work in Crossover/wine at this time,
I was actually being rather specific about which versions
to try 8)
