Im running Mac OS X 10.5.8 and trying to download Stronghold 2. Its a two disk game, I can get the first disk to install but when it comes to the second disk it doesnt work. Ive tried it by using actual disks but it wont eject and ive tried every way to eject it. It wont eject because it says disk one is in use. I have to quit cross over in order to eject the disk. When i downloaded the game from the internet I can once again download the first disk but it wont open the second disk. Ive even tried putting the two "disks" in the same folder and trying to install it that way. I am completely lost.
Did you try to make disk images via the disk utility tool and mount them one at a time?
Steps would look like:
1) Use Disk Utility to make images (DMG files) of the 2 discs.
2) Mount the first disc (DMG file) and install the game.
3) Right click and eject the disc from OS X. Then use the DMG file of the 2nd disc (which will mount in OSX)
4) Continue installation
CrossOver's Software Installer has an Eject button in it. This makes the Windows programs let go of the disc and ejects it.
