Hi. Hope its ok to reopen this thread as the ones I found are closed / locked with no solution.
I'm running macOS 14.1.1 (Sonoma) using CrossOver 23.7.0.36567.
I managed to fix this issue by copying the installer into the "Open C:\" part the game and running it from there.
I installed my old game but I also need to install an update / patch into this same game.
After installing main game, I selected the bottle and clicked on "Open C: Drive"
This shows Program Files etc. I copied the update.exe file into "drive_c" and then double-clicked it.
It opened and installed without giving the "Please re-run this installer as a normal user instead of "run as Administrator"" error.
Game: Championship Manager 0102. Had to install official patch. Old game but great fun!
