CrossOver Support - Community Forums

As the title implies, I have both Crossover 7.1 and Crossover Games 7.1.1. A while ago, there was a promotion to get them both for free for the day. Well, I downloaded both, not even knowing what I would ever use them for.

Now, I found many reasons to try them out, unfortunately, under my MacBook (Aluminum Unibody; 2.4ghz, 2gb ram; running Snow Leopard 10.6.7) they simply show a launch in the dock, and then vanish after all of 2 seconds.

Is it possible to ever update these now? Is there a site which simply offers a direct download of any updates? (... or, have these become useless programs?)

I don't think whoever emailed me fully understood what I was saying, and my reply via email remains unaswered. I downloaded, registered, and used both copies when they were available that day.

Now, "X" amount of time later, they don't do anything, with no changes to the programs. I was sent an apology and a link to download each of them at half off of their respective prices. I do not want a link to purchase each of them at 50% off. I would hesitate 99% off. In the world of business, you do not offer someone a replacement for a broken item at a discount - you replace the broken item.

I just want my copies to work, like an product or service obtained anywhere - you should get what you are told you're getting. The question I had was largely ignored and dismissed - "Can I update them to the newest versions", or at the very at least, get versions that actually continue to work?

I have sent a response to you via the ticket system so that Chris and I can both keep track of this and continue to assist you.
