soo i just bought crossover for my home mac, but is it possible to put that same one on my laptop too, or do i have to buy a separate one?

Hi,
You can install Crossover to both your machines, but the license terms
say you can only use one copy at any one time ... so provided you adhere
to those terms and only use one Crossover installation on one computer at
any one time, you can actually install it to as many machines as you have =)
If you want to run more than one copy of Crossover at the -same- time,
that would require an additional license (one each for every additional
machine you want to run Crossover on concurrently).
