Visio 2003 still tortuously slow when zoomed in

Just installed Crossover 10.0.1, but it still hasn't fixed the chronic slowness of Visio 2003.

The issue is when zoomed in on a drawn object, then trying to move the object. It's like trying to move in treacle. Even just a single rectangle suffers the same problem. I also tried Visio 2007, but that is even worse.

Note this problem doesn't occur when Visio is run in Windows, or when run using virtualisation such as VirtualBox. I'm using a 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo iMac and Snow Leopard, so it's not exactly a slow machine.

I do not experience this problem in any significant way. Zooming in to 400% does slow down the movement a little compared to 100%, particularly with a group of objects selected, but I wouldn't call it "like trying to move in treacle". In my experience, it's not much different to Parallels, VMWare or native Windows.

My system: iMac 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, OS X 10.6.6; Crossover Mac 9.2.0; Windows XP bottle; Visio 2003.

I hope this helps with diagnosis!

OK, try this test:

Set your page to A4, landscape.
Now draw a rectangle which almost fills the page.
Now draw a few very tiny rectangles (few mm square).
Select the tiny rectangles and zoom in to one of them as far as you can go (~2900%)
Now try and move the previously selected tiny rectangles.

See what I mean ??!!!

And it doesn't happen using VirtualBox, so it isn't a Visio issue.
