i downloaded the try version of crossover, installed it.
and now i want to install an cd game called warcraft 3 reign of chaos
i followed the tutorial exactly, but the program does not recognize the install file,
so i selected the folder on de cd that have the installer and still i get the following message:
Unable to find an installer in '/Volumes/Warcraft III'
i also tryed this with crossover game with the same result.
what am i doing wrong?

...you have to select the installer -file- , not select
a directory ; for CD installs, this file is usually named
'setup.exe' .....

...best I can figure it, you're selecting 'choose installer folder'
instead of 'choose installer file'...

well, i followed the instructions again, for like 4th time and still nohing.
But i just found something else, crossover only recognize files that are called setup, nothing else. on a cd is a file that is called installer. this cannot be changed in setup.
i have another game purchased digitally, and i renamed it to setup and it works.
so i resolved my own ticket
