I am using the Trial version of Crossover, and I am trying to run a command file.
When I open it, it says
Command error text:
wine: Install the Windows version of Mono to run .NET executables
So, do I install the windows version of Mono? If so, where can I download it?
You're usually going to be better off installing .NET, itself. You can install .NET 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 from the "Runtime Support Components" section of Crossover's Install Software menu. The following link describes the general steps needed to install dependency packages into a bottle:
If you don't know which version of the .NET framework you need, I'd start with 2.0. Install the Framework, then try running your .exe file against the bottle via Programs>Run Command. If that doesn't work, try 1.1, and then 3.0 (which has the least chance of success).
Thanks for the quick reply, but GODDAMMIT!! Why u no support twinkly wink 4.0.3??!!
