I'm testing CrossOver with a self developed Windows application under OS X 10.6.8. Looks good, does run.
First I had to install Borland BDE, did work, no problem. The installer of BDE did create a menu entry under CrossOver - Programs.
My Application has no installer, it's just a self-extracting binary. I did run it and it created all necessary directories and files within the selected CrossOver Bottle. Now I can start my application by selecting "Manage Bottles..." menu, then going to the "Advanced" tab and then "Open C: Drive in Finder". Then I select my application.exe and start it.
Now my question, how can I speed up the start of my application?
Can I add somehow an entry into the CrossOver menu under "Programs" for my application?
...use the Crossover menu -> Programs -> Run Command function. Choose
the bottle you're using, navigate to your win32 binary and open it,
then click on 'save to crossover menu' or what-have-you .. =)
