CrossOver Support - Community Forums

I am a total newb and ran into some problems. I am using Crossover Mac 10.0.3 on Snow Leopard.

I tried installing Irfanview several times and finally succeeded.

But as part of a try, I now see the Irfanview installer on the crossover|Programs menu

How do I uninstall/remove the installer but leave the working version of Irfanview?

The easiest way is to make an archive of that bottle and save it somewhere on your system that makes sense to you.

1. Load CrossOver
2. From the menu at the top of your screen select "Configure" and then "Manage Bottles"
3. Choose the "Advanced" tab in the bottle manager (pictured here
4. Select the bottle you would like to keep
5. Click "Make Archive..." and then choose where you would like to save the bottle to.

Then, you can follow the instructions in our Support Library to completely remove and reinstall CrossOver.

Thanks for the response but I am not sure I understand it. I want to get rid of one program but keep the rest of them and also keep Crossover. Is the only way to get rid of an installed program to delete Crossover and start again?
