Hi there, I'm using CrossOver (version 10.1.1) to run IE 7 and use a web based Sage CRM my company has started to use. I think I need to be using IE 9 in order for some of the fields to work properly. Two questions:
How can I download IE 9 with crossover and use on my Mac (running OS X v 10.6.8).
The Sage software is trying to export an Excel doc that opens in a new pop up page. I enable pop ups from the source, but this page is not popping out. Also, do you know how I can save this file to my hard drive once the file does pop out.
Unfortunately there is no way to get a properly working install of IE9 in Crossover. IE6 and IE7 are the only supported versions, and even they are quite "hit or miss" with IE-only websites. The "troubleshooting internet explorer" section at this link has more information:
From the behavior you're seeing, it's quite likely that Crossover's IE support isn't complete enough for this CRM. We're working on a "Crossover Explorer" browser that will be more adjustable and easier to fix with regards to IE-only systems that misbehave, but that's several months away from public testing.
