Can't run existing apps now in MacOS X Lion

I have been using CrossOver on my mac for several years but now that I have updated to MacOS X Lion (10.7.2) on my newer 27" iMac (3.4 GHz Intel Core i7), I cannot get things to work correctly. Existing windows apps no longer run (application not responding after a long time to try to load). This is true of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and other (non-supported) apps that have run fine for 5 years in this environment. I have tried different bottles, deleting and re-installing the apps, etc. I have upgraded to CrossOver 10.1.1. Sometimes, after force quitting an app like IE, it will suddenly come alive. I have also had long, long delays and errors in both de-installing and re-installing these apps. Even in installing core fonts. It seems as if this version is not working correctly. What should I do?

Went to a virgin Admin account and tried to install the same program. CrossOver is not working right. It does not correctly complete the install of new software. Ran the installer for the software, but CrossOver did not complete the operation after the installer was done. De-installed the incompletely installed program and tried again. It ran the program installer faster, but CrossOver still stalled midway (after the program installer was done.

The Win XP bottle was created by the above, although I can't tell if it is in any way incomplete. Program does not run.

Upgrades certainly can cause strange, hard to pin down issues, so the first thing I'd recommend is totally removing all things Crossover from your machine. To preserve your Bottles (for later testing), drag the "Crossover" folder, here

/Users/[your user account]/Library/Application Support/CrossOver

To your Desktop for safe-keeping. On Lion you can access the "Library" directory by holding down "option" on your keyboard with Finder's "Go" menu open.

After you've moved the above directory to the Desktop (where it is basically "in storage"), remove Crossover completely as per the instructions, here:

http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/mac/mactutorial/uninstall

When this is complete, download and install a fresh copy of Crossover 10.1.1. To test it out, try installing something "basic" like Internet Explorer 6. Provided that this installation is successful, you can then shut down Crossover, and copy the individual directories within the "CrossOver/Bottles/" folder on your desktop into the corresponding "Bottles" directory now inside

/Users/[your user account]/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles

Any luck?
