I have crossover 7.1.2 at mac os 10.6.8, on macbook pro 17", 2.16 Ghz Intel Core Duo, 1 GB 677 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM
I am trying to install swish-max-int.exe on cross over using widows xp, but I got an error says:
There isn't any .net framework installed!
This application requires .net framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 minimum.
It can be downloaded at no cost from microsoft.com
I try to install the same frame work "NetFx20SP2_x64.exe", but also I got this error:
Extraction Failed
Unable to find a volume for file extraction.
Please verify that you have proper permissions.
I had this same experience. I found that the .net file MUST be downloaded using Internet Exploder within a windoze system. I used Parallels to download, extract and install .net for a program I have that needed it. The file would not extract if downloaded with either Safari Mac or Safari windoze. Only IE would work. After all that hassle it turns out that .net appears to merely be a mechanism to display advertisements within the program that requires it.

Hi,
.NET 2.0 SP 2 is not supported/does not currently install in crossover/wine.
You might try Mono, but there's no guarantee it would work, and seeing as the
software is citing .NET2.0 SP2, it probably needs that specific version to work ;
you might try .NET 3.0 just in case the premise of 'luck' exists here ;
