Recently I upgraded to os lion but when I access crossover, It just opens and closes all my bottles. I think the update warranty has expired, but could I be able to upgrade to the os lion compatible version for free? I don't really think it is fair to make people pay again. I think It's fine that you have to pay for updates after the warranty has expired, because the version still works.

If you time has expired for free upgrades, then yes you'll have to buy again.
Go to your account, downloads. If it's not there, you're out of luck. The screen will show you the last and latest version you can download for free. I know, it's kind of a drag, but we really need CrossOver to be around. I look at it a just a support fee. It's not that much, but I use it for some work related stuff and may be in a different boat.
