I am not familiar with Mac at all. I am visiting an uncle in oslo and i didnt buy a converter for my laptops adapter which means i wont be able to charge my laptop. So i am trying to run my exness.com trading account from his macbook yet i need to know how to i move the specific exness filesinto the mt4 folder. Because as you know the mt4 program is just a shell for the brokers that use it. So what i would like to know is if i have the actual mt4exness exe file can i run that directly into the crossover so this way it can download all the specific information, and how do i locate the actual metatrader4 folder on this mac book so this way i can add indictors to it. Any help would be greatly appericated and should it work i will get my uncle to donate to the cause, because it truly is a wonderful tool you guys created

if the mt4exness.exe file is the actual installer for the exness spin of MT4, what you'll want to do is go into Crossover's Install Software menu, head to the Community Supported Applications section, and select MetaTrader 4.

Then, click on "will download from...", select "choose installer file", and then browse to and select your mt4exness.exe file. Click on "Install" to proceed to install from the file. I've seen a couple of broker-specific versions of MT4 install successfully in this way.
