I have CrossOver 7.1 and CrossOver Games 7.1.1, but they don't work on Snow Leopard. Can I update them for free?

No, you cannot. This is because that those promos were a 1-version-only download. You will need to purchase a license for the version (Games, Pro, etc) or become an Advocate.
