Clicking on dock icon to move my CrossOver application to the front.
First, I'm glad that the bug has been fixed, allowing me to click on the red button to close my Forte Agent session under CrossOver.
But with Lion, I have found that if I click on the Agent or CrossOver icons in my Dock, the open window doesn't move to the front. There are other ways to do this, including using the Crossover drop down menu.

I've seen this, too, but very sporadically, and haven't yet been able to get it to happen reliably. It happens when I'm not paying attention, and then when I close my windows apps and re-launch them I can't find a way to deliberately cause it.
I'd love to hear from any users who have found a reliable method of reproducing.
this is pretty consistent on my machines. emulated application is microsoft access 2000. i typically only use 1 workspace, have tried various methods for using multiple workspaces and now mission control.
my solution thus far has been to assign the emulated application and the crossover application to a specific workspace, and then clicking on the crossover application icon in the dock will consistently reveal the emulated application window in its assigned workspace. clicking on the emulated application dock icon pretty much does nothing for me. i get e response from the os like it switched focus, the previous app that had focus no longer has the focus, yet nothing in crossover or the emulated application has focus either, so i'm not sure where the focus went, but it didn't go where i told it to.
I have to concur with Jack's observation.. I've seen it, but can't detail or reproduce it on command.
I think the effect was existent back in Snow Leopard, but I can't say for certain ... short-term memory loss and all that... :)
I know that Lion has changed a lot of "expected behavior" into "bugs" in its attempt to "re-implement" things -- even the previous behavior of Apple's own applications has been broken VERY often. There ARE a lot of things waiting for fixes in 10.7.1.
I haven't been following this thread from the beginning, but I'm not sure this is entirely a Crossover issue. On my system this sometimes happens with MS Word 2008 for Mac (i.e. running on the Mac not on Crossover). It seems it might also be associated with using Spaces, when paging over to Word (using <Cmd Tab>) loses the focus on the previous application but doesn't show Word at the front. Also happens occasionally when paging between documents within Word using <Cmd `>. I have not noticed this happen with other applications.
I offer this as a possibly useful diagnostic - it might not be!
My system: iMac Intel 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo, Mac OSX 10.6.8, MS Word 2008 for Mac v 12.2.9.
I have the same problem and it happens all the time since moving to Lion. I run just two programmes under Crossover 10.1.1 0n my 17" 2.6 GHz Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro and they are 40tude Daialog, which which I have no problem and it always comes to the front, and iDailyDiary which never comes to the front. I have to go into Mission Control in Lion and select it and then all is OK.
However I've just reinstalled Crossover and it seems to have cured it. I'd installed it before installing Lion. If it goes back to the old way then I'll let every one know but I've tried several different permutations and iDailyDiary now works as it should and always comes to the front.
24 hours later and it's unfortunately back to where it was before. I still have to use Mission Control to bring the programme to the front. Not the end of the world!
This issue seems to have been resolved with the Mac OS 10.7.2 update.
Tested on an iMac running OS 10.7.2 with CrossOver 10.1.1 and Office 2007.
Please let us know if this occurs with other apps in CrossOver as well.
