CrossOver Support - Community Forums

I can't find my cstrike directory for demos, screenshots, config etc.
I downloaded demos to watch and I cant find the directory to put them in to view.
I am using crossover, steam, and cs 1.6
Heres screenshots of where it SHOULD be.
I had to open Crossover and go to 'manage bottles' 'steam' 'open c drive' then navigate to these folders where it should have all the stuff I need.

It looks like you've been rooting around inside

.../drive_c/Program Files/Steam/steamapps

Have you tried checking the folders in

.../drive_c/Program Files/Steam/userdata

I tried this at your suggestion. click userdata>91372545>config>localconfig.vdf
nothing else is in there.
All other suggestions on the web about where your files are located in steam say
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\XXYOURNAMEXX\counter-strike\cstrike
I can go as far as steamapps but there is nothing there exept a safari logo and file.
As far as I can see there is no folders containing any of my profile information or user information.

On another note, I also have a problem on launching the game - I cant use the keyboard in the main menu OR game, unless I copy some text from say Safari, and try paste it in the name field in menu options. Then miraculously my keyboard works again.
Any idea why this is?
Please help me with these two problems - I am getting quite frustrated with it all!\

I have solved my problem re directory, I was stupidly looking in the wrong bottle.
As for the keyboard problem this still persists..
Any ideas guys??

Did you make any adjustments within Wine Configuration? This sounds like what happens in some games when "Allow the window manager to control the windows" is unchecked.
