I recently installed the trial version of CrossOver in an attempt to download Dev-C++ onto my Macbook Pro. I followed the instructions for setting up and everything worked perfectly; I can access the program, write the source code, and compile a program.
However, I cannot seem to run a program after it has been compiled. When I try to run it, the screen freezes for about a second and then goes back to normal without doing anything. I assume this is because it needs a Windows terminal to run it (I apologize if this doesn't make sense, I'm literally brand new to programming).
Is there a fix for this or anything (supported or not) that I can download with Crossover to run Dev-C++ programs? Crossover seems like a great software to have handy but I can't really justify paying for it if I can only compile programs
