I'm running Crossover 10.1.1 under Snow Leopard with a bottle for Quicken 2012 (which works, despite the fact that the compatibility page here says that it doesn't). I'm about to upgrade to Crossover 10.2.
Is there anything I need to do in order to preserve the Quicken bottle? Will all that installed goodness remain, or will I have to reinstall Quicken?
..in context of your question however - yes, typically
the upgrade and replace with newest scenario works
fine, however, it is always advised that you create a
backup of your working bottles (cxarchives), just in
case something does go wrong - it's easy to return to
your original situation if you have these backups and
without them there is little or no recourse (the install
of the new crossover version may change a pre-existing
bottle's setup)...see 'Make Archve' on this page;
The upgrade went without a hitch, overwriting the old version. I archived my bottle, but it wasn't needed. When crossover first ran, it told me that it was upgrading some files, but whatever it did worked fine.
Thanks again,
Steve
