I downloaded the crossover-pro-10.1.1.dmg file and it appears to be bad as all I see when I open it up is the Cross Over logo and name at the top of the window, a large orange arrow in the middle of the window and the copyright and "all rights reserved" statements at the bottom. There is no application icon on the left to drag into my Applications folder on the right. I downloaded the professional, standard and games editions all with the same result.
Another piece of information. I tried to install the 10.1.0 version as well as the 9.2.0 versions and had the same results. So it almost seems to be more of an issue with possibly trying to mount the images on Lion. Although I would think that just mounting the images to see the files to install would not be very dependent on the OS version.
Additionally, after mounting the various versions I changed the Finder view from icons to list and there were no files listed. The progress indicator in the top right hand corner is also continually spinning.
Problem resolved. Not sure what the problem was but after rebooting everything is working as expected.
