I've been following the threads on installing Quicken 2012 on OSX Lion. I came to the conclusion that I was possibly having problems due to missing libraries. The problems I have been having are the inability to register (did the Control-Command-One-Step-Update work-around), and unable to download transactions from my bank. When I run the cxdiag command, I receive the following information:

Information: MacBook Pro i7 running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74) in 64-bit mode.

cxdiag isn't really a useful tool on Mac - missing compatibility libraries is not really problem for Crossover in OS X (except missing X11, but that's not an issue on Lion). Messing around with the libraries listed in cxdiag on Mac won't help anything, and is potentially dangerous (if you start actually tweaking your libs).

As for Quicken 2012 - we haven't really spent much time testing it, yet. I'd try a clean install as if Quicken 2012 were Quicken 2011, i.e. select Quicken 2011 from the list of supported software, but then choose your Quicken 2012 installer disc/file. After Crossover installs the dependency packages and Quicken, itself, I'd recommend de-activating the registration prompt as the first thing you do in Quicken, and then see if you can update your accounts.

I am having the same problem not being able not being able to register Quicken 2012. I selected Quicken 2011 from the list of supported software and then chose the Quicken 2012 installer file already downloaded on my mac when I originally installed Quicken.

Quicken won't allow me to pay bills without registering. I'm running the trial version of Crossover. If it's not going to support registering Quicken, I don't want to buy it.
