Hi,
I bought Crossover for Mac to run Visio 2007. I can open existing Visio files that come with the shapes used originally. However, if I try to get new shapes, the application cannot connect to the Internet to get the new shapes. The error message that I got is:
Visio Web Shapes - Unable to establish an Internet connection. Results are limited to the shapes found on your computer. (To check your search settings, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then view the Shape Search tab.)
What kind of settings should I use to establish the Internet connection for this application?
Thank you very much.

Honestly, I'm not certain that that is a feature we expect to work with Visio 2007. Your best path is writing to our Support Team for some help. You can do that by opening a Support Ticket or emailing ninjas@codeweavers.com.
Some functions of the Office apps require Internet Explorer's libraries to work. The templates function comes to mind. If you install IE6 or IE7 in the bottle with the Office app that could provide the missing libraries and make that function start to work in Visio.
