Battle of Immortals issues!!!

Well basically i downloaded the game and everything was fine until i went to "Play" button and then it opened up the screen and it was black with the login screen and it was black and my keyboad wouldn't connect so i couldn't type in my info only the virtual one worked. please any help would be neccessary and im a complete noob.

Hi Timothy,

Welcome to the forums. I took a quick look at the game and had a few questions for you:

  • Which version of CrossOver are you running?
  • Which version of Mac OS X are you running?
  • What Mac hardware are you operating on?
  • How did you install the game? Did you use the CrossTie/CrossOver wizard or did you install it manually?
  • Have you applied the latest game patches to the game?

I'll see if I can give the game a spin, but it may take me a few days before I am able to provide accurate feedback. Perhaps with some answers to these questions we'll be able to resolve the issue.

I am running the newest version, downloaded it from crosstie and these are my specsModel Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac10,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz

Just tested the game. Seems to work if you install the patches found here:

I believe you have to install each of the patch updates. Let me know how that works for you.

Sorry for the really late response but do i need to indivisually download the patches and after i do that what do i do with the .exe patches?

You need to install each of the patches in reverse chronological order so:

  1. Patch 1107070-1203080: Released 03/13/12
  2. Patch 1203080-1203210: Released 03/29/12
  3. Patch 1203210-1204010: Released 04/04/12

You can run each patch with the following steps in CrossOver:

  1. From the Menu bar, select Programs > Run
  2. In the Use Bottle drop-down, ensure that your Battle of Immortals bottle has been selected
  3. Click the Browse button and find the patch file you need to install
  4. Click Run
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 for each of the patches mentioned above.

This should hopefully update your installation and you should be able to play fine. Note that I haven't tested the game extensively and I noticed a number of graphics issues, but regular gameplay seemed fine.

You can click the green Install via CrossTie button to install the patches. Please be sure to select the correct bottle in the installation wizard in order to avoid creating a duplicate installation.
